Andre Corporation Receives ISO 9000 Certification

June 21, 2004 Andre corporation received ISO 9000 Quality Management System Certification from American Systems Registrar, an accredited ANSI-RAB provider of third party system registration. The scope of Andre's certification includes the production of steel washers and metal stampings, slitting and distribution of steel coils.

ISO (the International Organization of Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. Working through highly skilled technical committees they prepare, draft and publish International Quality Standards. These standards are recognized by governments and corporations worldwide.

ISO 9000 Standards emphasize the importance of audits as a management tool for verifying implementation of an organization's quality and/or environmental policy. These audits are also an essential part of conformity to ISO standards.
